EDWINA M. OUELLETTE

VAN BUREN---Edwina M. Ouellette, 86, died Jan. 7, 2011 at a Van Buren health care facility. She was born in Van Buren, Jan. 29, 1924, the daughter of David and Artheline (Cyr) Ouellette. She had worked as a cook at the former Van Buren Community Hospital and Borderview Nursing Home. She is survived by three daughters, Geraldine McGrath of Fairpoint, NY, Rella Bustos and husband Daniel of Tucson, AZ, Linda Michaud and husband John of Hermon; three sons, Donald Ouellette and wife Lea of Vernon, VT, Michael Ouellette and wife Rachel of Van Buren, and Peter Ouellette of Van Buren; one brother, Conrad Ouellette of Van Buren; one sister, Carlene Masse of Caribou; 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Lionel Ouellette in 1988, one son, Melvin Ouellette in 2010 and by one grandson, Matthew McGrath in 1975. Relatives and friends may call at the Ouellette-Thibault Funeral Home, 118 High St., Van Buren, from 6 to 8 PM on Monday and 9 AM until time of service on Tuesday. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Tuesday at the St. Bruno-St. Remi Catholic Church. Spring interment will be in the parish cemetery.
